Illuminating Mount Misery
2004 — This photo of my cousin Anne Marie was taken in the woods on Long Island. During this particular photography class we were assigned to take photos which displayed 'fear.' On Long Island there is a place called Mount Misery which has much horror associated with it. It is generally seen as a very scary place. We decided to venture to Mount Misery in the daytime to see if the ambiance changed when the sun was up.
